Case Study

We were appointed for this high-quality CAT B, fit out located on the 4th Floor of a Listed prestigious Mayfair address for a boutique Private Equity company. The Executive Partners’ offices were formed within the heritage parts, along with a library, several large meeting rooms, all of which were refurbished to a high-level finish with feature lighting completing the look.  

The modern extension included a bespoke reception area with a new desk and visitor welcoming area, alongside contemporary meeting rooms with a state-of-the-art audio-visual system, new pantry, break out/collaborative space, print and comms rooms.  All base build ceilings were replaced with a new acoustic ceiling throughout the meeting areas, reception and breakout spaces. Existing base build MEP services were adapted to suit the adapted office layout. New timber flooring was installed with high quality rugs enhancing the finished feature, as well as bespoke joinery to separate the open office area from the collaborative break out space. We also managed the Client’s move along with the furniture delivery and installation.

Challenges

The main contractor completing the whole cut and carve project was considerably behind programme. We took possession of the site whilst major structural and infrastructure elements were still being undertaken during the height of the pandemic.

Solutions

We needed work closely with the Contractor to align our Covid management strategy and plan how we would commission and sign off life safety systems given that the building wide services installation was behind programme.
